What should Labour tell voters at the General Election?

Rae Burdon

The truth.
Analysis of thousands of ads from all political parties reveals that it’s in short supply.
Electoral Commission research from 2019 confirms that “people were concerned about misleading campaign techniques from across the political spectrum.”
Electoral advertising should be regulated so that fact-based claims are accurate.
Voters agree: according to our 2020 YouGov research, 85% agree that it is important “that political parties adverts do not make false or misleading claims.”
We need Labour’s support to make it happen.
Lobby your MP to include ad regulation in the manifesto.
